Nearly every device the SilverHawks fight comes out of Hardware’s hands. He built Sky-Shadow, he carries a Roll-Up Bag holding a tool or a weapon for any situation, and he is the only Mob regular who had never been imprisoned before The Hardware Trap - Part II. The show never says what species he is or where he trained.

His loyalty is the interesting part, because it is for sale. Two separate episodes, The Hardware Trap - Part I and Darkbird, have him turn on MonStar over unpaid invoices. He is a contractor, not a believer, and the Mob’s most dangerous member is on the payroll rather than in the cause. Then he is also the one who breaks MonStar out of prison in Sneak Attack - Part II, using a smuggled Moon*Star power pack. Both things are true of him and the show never reconciles them.

He is not in the pilot as a performance. The fan record marks that appearance as visual materials only, a dossier image rather than a scene, so his first real appearance is Journey to Limbo. He is the most heavily documented Mob member by some distance, with a forty-six episode appearance list on the ThunderCats wiki.

Voice. Wikipedia and the ThunderCats wiki both credit Bob McFadden, the same actor they assign to Yes-Man. One lineage, and unverified.
