A circular device with an X across the middle to arm it and a ring of lights that show when it is live. Hardware fixes it to the Sprinthawk so that daybreak sets it off, which is a nasty idea for a Saturday morning show.

Stargazer catches Hardware planting it on the monitors and gets word to Bluegrass in time to pull Quicksilver out. The Sprinthawk is destroyed. The same device turns up again on a rocket, rigged to movement instead of light, and Flashback finds it first.
