The ThunderCats wiki is unusually honest about how little there is here. Not much is known about him beyond that he ran a garbage truck, did the Limbo rounds often enough to be widely known, and was a funny outgoing man who did not mind a joke about the job.
His importance is entirely borrowed. Mo-Lec-U-Lar wears his face for most of Junkyard Dog in order to intercept the Total Mobility System Case that Stargazer needs to stay alive. It is the most personal theft in the series, and it is carried out wearing a bin man’s face.
He also comes with a dependent. Junk is a robot watchdog on Asteroid Trash who attacks Flashback while the disguise is still holding, then breaks loose, tackles Mo-Lec-U-Lar and frees the case. The dog resolves the episode, not the squadron!
