Sly-Bird is the odd one out among the hero birds. It debuts three episodes before the Steel twins build the other four, and the show never says who made it. Its defining feature is a blue camera lens on its belly and a second camera in its left eye, which quietly echoes Stargazer’s own telescopic eye. It records and photographs and then plays the footage back through the same lens or projects it from the eye. Its introduction is a last resort: with every SilverHawk gone silent, Stargazer sends it out and it confirms that the whole team is being held in Mon*Star’s fortress. It later captures the footage of Hardware entering the time warp that sets up Window in Time.
