Lord Cash runs the treasury planet and calls the SilverHawks in whenever it is threatened, which is often. Ten appearances make him the most recurrent civilian authority figure in the series after Stargazer’s Earth contacts.
His function is to be wrong about the squadron. In Darkbird he is taken in by the duplicate and personally demands Quicksilver’s arrest, which comes close to disbanding the team. In Gotbucks he hires a security robot that the Mob abduct and turn back on him within the episode. The show never establishes whether he is a head of state, a banker, or both, and never says what species he is.
The planet’s name is a mess that any reference archive has to handle. Our episode data writes Dollare, the ThunderCats wiki writes Dolare, and Wikipedia writes Dolar. We have followed our own data and listed the other two as variants.
