Mayday is the reconnaissance member of the four and is built to match its owner, copper-toned with a green radar disc on its chest and an extending neck that fires sonic ripple beams. Its job is detection. It spots the incoming Sky-Shadows on its debut so that Rayzor can destroy them, finds the captive governor of Bedlama on an asteroid, jams prison radar while the Copper Kidd breaks the rest of the team out of Penal Planet 10, and locates a loose Mon*Star near Hawk Haven. Like Tally-Hawk it can relay what it sees to the monitors at Hawk Haven through the station’s satellite dish. Sky-Shadow shoots it down and disables it in The Invisible Destroyer, though it gets an SOS out first.
