It is a throne and it is a machine, and it is the single most repeated image in the series. Light from the MoonStar travels down the star-shaped crater, the fortress antenna aims it, and the chamber does the rest. Yes-Man’s fixed job is operating it. The show runs the sequence almost every week, which makes the chamber less a location than a piece of ritual, and the one time somebody other than MonStar uses it, Yes-Man in No More Mr. Nice Guy, the effect is temporary and never mentioned again.
