Limbo is the whole setting of the show, and the first thing to understand about it is how small it is. Earth sends the squadron a hundred light years out to a galaxy that behaves, in practice, like one crowded solar system, where the bank planet and the prison and the sun are all a short flight from each other. Characters cross it inside an episode and fly between worlds without suits, because Limbo has a breathable medium in the open space between bodies that the series never bothers to explain.
The show uses both names for it. Episode four calls it the Galaxy of Limbo and episode six calls it the Limbo Galaxy, and neither reading is wrong.
