The room where the series is authorised. General Rawlings runs it, Professor Ghemakain briefs it, and the decision to build five part-metal officers and fire them at the Limbo Galaxy is taken here in the first episode. Everything the SilverHawks do afterwards is downstream of that meeting.

It is the only piece of Earth government the show ever puts on screen, and it turns up in five episodes: the origin, then Hotwing’s arrival, then three later stories that reach back to the beginning. Its function each time is the same. Somebody needs orders, or needs to explain to a superior what has gone wrong in Limbo.

The name is spelled several ways across the surviving materials. We have taken the longest form and listed the shorter ones as variants rather than picking a winner.
