The Copper Kidd has slots in his hips for two discs and takes them out to throw. What they do changes with the episode, which is either a flaw or a licence depending on how strictly you read a Saturday morning show.

The clearest use is against Windhammer. They also appear on the roster of standard SilverHawks equipment alongside Hot Licks and the lariat, so the show considers them issued kit rather than a personal quirk.
