Quicksilver plans to walk it in himself and set it, knowing the heat will finish him before he can get back out. The other four go after him against his orders, intending to try one at a time if he fails.
The device is built to hold together past eight million degrees, which is close to Flashback melting point and roughly sixteen times what the 2839 SilverHawks bodies are tempered for. Flashback reaches back into their timeline and takes the whole problem apart before anyone has to find out.
